This is going to be a beautiful day. Then it looks like tomorrow and maybe Tuesday we will be getting some much needed rain.
Awesome day at Wild Bunch shoot. First time out, since the 'rona. I was rusty and breathing limited.
Took youngest grandson with me. Had a blast. Made the day 1000x better.
Started the drive home, he says, "I need to go to your house and help unload, clean everything."
Showed him how to pull pin, remove cylinder, clean, oil and reassemble. He cleaned the 2 Single Sixes, he had shot. Then, cleaned the 2 SxS. Best part of the day.
Took him home. Went to leave and he wanted to know when is the next Cowboy Shoot?

Home from church functions (worship and small group meetings), and on our way home we saw smoke from grass fires out by Tuttle and another that looks like it is east of Blanchard. The winds today are NOT making this a good day. We know of at least one family in the Tuttle area that has lost their home, and another has had grass fires and lost a shed.

Good morning....I just returned from a trip down to the ranch to check out some new equipment that I purchased to do numerous tasks. Here are a few pics of the new equipment: Trackhoe, 600 gallon fuel trailer and dump trailer....the weather was great and I was going to stay a whole week but this rain shut me down for a couple of days......when I was a young man nothing slowed me down but 72 years has done the job... young me

I've always said that it I win the lotto, I'd buy a bunch of land and a backhoe, then just dig holes all day!!
