The wife is getting up and around and I am going to start loading the truck. We are heading south to Dallas today for our convention. We will be down there for 9 days, and we have a chit load of stuff we are taking.

The moon from last night. Another from my friend in Idaho.
Brought the old man out for one last doe hunt of the year. Hoping to get him one for the freezer, tomorrow is supposed to be a cold one again. Wife and I plan to celebrate NYE early tonight at her sister's little pub in town, so I might sleep in tomorrow morning 
Afternoon all, headed to moms for a steak dinner that my brother is cooking. He and his wife came in from MO last night. Should be a nice visit and dinner.
It is the World Championships of Country Dance. We closed our registration last month with 8500 entries. We have 23 countries plus the US and Canada. It will be a packed 9 days of competition.

We met up with four of our friends last night at Cattleman’s down at the stock yards. It‘s been a while since we have eaten there but the steaks were still as good as ever.
