I think Palin is a tremendous personality. And a great asset to the Republican party. She is great at fund raising and getting the troops ready for battle. I also think she is intuitively smart and I also think she has the balls to call the big shots if necessary. But....and a big one......she just doesn't come across as a really serious person. Her TV program shows that to a T. Such a shame as she would probably be a good president, but she could never beat Obummer. I understand why she resigned from the Alaska governership fully, and don't blame her one bit. Now if the Republican party doesn't get it head out of it arse and get down to business they are going to lose the big one again. McCain......a liberal running under the Rep. name. I got so disgusted with his campaign I wrote him a scathing letter to get off his arse and act like he wanted to win. Most pathetic campaign I have seen in some time. And I have been around for some time. Clear back to Eisenhower. The Democrats have evolved into pure socialism. The Republicans are where the Dems used to be. The whole dog and pony show in Washington DC is a farce. We are lucky in Oklahoma to have two good Senators and in my case a fairly good Rep. Tom Cole. If you read between the lines I am neither Dem or Rep. I am a Liberterian. Ron Paul made more sense than anyone during the primaries, but he could not get elected dog catcher. Shame, that so much is based on looks and "coolness". I have been around this planet quite a few years and this is the first time I have been really afraid for my country. Oh it probably won't have much impact on me as I will not be around for more than about 15 years at best. But I do worry about my children and grandchildren. They have been taught in schools that subscribed to the doctrine of Dewey. Such a travisity.

As a side note concerning Obummers friend Bill Ayers. Who set bombs at police stations and I think the Pentagon (correct me if wrong). I just wonder how he would take it if he woke up one morning and found a strange package or briefcase setting by his front door? Sh#t has a way of going around.

And another thing.......If you will stop thinking in terms of Dems and Reps and think of liberals and conservatives you will be a bit further along in your political knowledge. Our present Congress is the biggest conglomerate of thieves I have seen or read about in many years. Charlie Rangle is just an example. They just thumb their noses at the rules of civilization. OK, rant over now. I feel better and will now go to bed. But mark my words....we are in for one hell of a ride with runaway inflation. Protect your assets.

I love her but if the GOP puts her in it is the same as throwing in the towel.

Fred Thompson should really get in the game to win this time.

Palin's hand picked senatorial candidate was just defeated by write-in candidate Murcowski(SP???)
Miller is arguing in court that people who can't spell obviously favor him. Doesn't bode well for the future.
Speaking of Palin's inerrant political judgment, isn't it great how her endorsements saved the Senate for the Democrats?

Who could have imagined a year ago that Harry Reid would be elected for another term?

The Democrats even held seats in Colorado and Delaware that had been considered lost, thanks largely to her endorsements of poor candidates.

Way to rock Sarah! You've got the liberals terrified.

I don't like the idea of Palin running. I really do think it's the media pushing her in an attempt to keep a more viable candidate from making headlines. Sure, she's easy on the eyes and has a fire to her, but in my eyes she doesn't have any raw substance.

Say what you will about Palin, I'm of the opinion that she won't command the international respect that Obama does, and that's a scary thought considering that Obama is a joke on the international stage. Again this is just my opinion. I really wish we had a conservative like Regan to look to.
