Looking for the lumens
At the request of another RO and for posterity's sake:

Minimum gear:
OLAES dressing for your pressure dressing
SWAT-T then a CAT for tourniquets
Trauma shears

Sources:
Rescue Essentials for pretty much everything
The EMS Store for the best deal on SWAT-Ts

Interventions:
Direct pressure
Pressure points
Pressure dressing
Tourniquet
Hemostatic agents

Thanks to Jon and Susie for hosting again and their incredible hospitality. Thank you to Al and Dan for having me back to help. A resounding thank you to the competitors for being safe. I met a lot of new people I hope to see again very soon. For me and how I use this event, I'm okay with how I did. I have things to improve upon and will before summer. As Benny Hill would say, "Learning all the time!"

This was my first year to run with an IFAK, I noticed very few others having one. Maybe I just didn't see them, but did any of you guys carry one?

Still impressive with an AK and using iron sights on the 500!
Thanks man! Funniest thing is the only rifle targets I struggled with were the close range ones. My red dot is set up to co witness with my irons at 100 yards, so the only time I use it is at 100 or less. I literally used a full magazine at both of the close range stages, partially because I was trying to hurry and then was getting frustrated. Other than that, there was 1 position on the Vtac wall that gave me heck.

On the 500 I am not sure how much time I spent actually shooting, I dropped into position and realized my plugs weren't in, had to find them, and get them in, probably wasted 30 seconds...

Nearly always. I have a CAT in a pull out pouch behind my dump pouch...and had a first aid kit in my camelback loaded with guaze, tape, band aids and an Izzy bandage.

Scores are posted! http://www.okrunngun.com/#!scores/c1x9v

The first batch of pics are uploading, and will take a while.

It was good to see all of you on the course! Thank you all for coming out and making the Run 'n Gun a big success. Congrats and well done to all our trophy winners.

The summer RnG will be July 16, 2016. We will announce the date tickets will go on sale soon in this forum and on the website. We have some ideas for stages and obstacles that will be a lot of fun. We just picked up a new sponsor, Double D Steel (the folks that were selling targets at the event). They have already contributed an AR500 hostage target, which will be making an appearance somewhere on the course.

How did your wife like the run? Is she ready to do it next year?

She wasn't too bent out of shape about the run, but she does not think she can carry ammo, rifle and water and do it at the same pace.
Not sure yet if she will shoot the course next winter, but she is interested. Ill have to train her and buy her a nice AR :):):):):):)
