I had my high bred and professionally trained hunting Retriever insured with State Farm. They had my homeowner and vehicle policies as well. It was a few years ago and I don’t remember the cost but it was reasonable. I had a near miss when a tornado went near my trainer’s kennels and was glad to have the insurance. I had a couple of other concerning incidents involving ice on frozen lakes and retrieving ducks where I was glad to have the insurance. Not to mention - theft was always a concern.

I have mine thru Costco. My last dog cost me a fortune but he was a great friend. I’ve had the new one for a couple of years and we’ve been very fortunate so far but for $17.45 a month for 80% accident and illness coverage with Figo I feel a little more protected for him.
