Yeah, unfortunately the place has pretty good food, but I doubt I'll go back.
What makes it illegal to carry in the casino? Is it a tribal law or something?I may have missed this somewhere on here, but i'm wondering why some places where it's illegal to ccw don't have signs posted on their door to remind people. There is such a thing as forgetting you know. It wouldn't hurt to be reminded The local PO and at least Cherokee casino in Tulsa aren't posted on the door.
I don't know for sure that it is, it's not posted on their door, but i read somewhere that it was illegal. What makes it illegal to carry in the casino? Is it a tribal law or something?
Correction : I was at the Cherokee Ramona Casino last night and it was posted. However Tulsa wasn't last time i was there or else i just didn't see it, but i did look for one.
I think the problem with casino's is you have to know if they allow para-mutual wagering before you go in. Any place that allows para-mutual betting is a prohibited place.
Parimutuel betting (from the French: Pari Mutuel or mutual betting) is a betting system in which all bets of a particular type are placed together in a pool; taxes and the "house-take" or "vig" is removed, and payoff odds are calculated by sharing the pool among all winning bets. In some countries it is known as the Tote after the totalisator which calculates and displays bets already made.
The parimutuel system is used in gambling on horse racing, greyhound racing, jai alai, and all sporting events of relatively short duration in which participants finish in a ranked order. A modified parimutuel system is also used in some lottery games.
Yes, there are some that still have it. The Stables in Miami used to, but they make more money off of slot machines.
I'll add one anti-CC establishment, Deaconess Hospital in OKC. Nice place, decent hospital, "no guns allowed" signs posted on all public entrances.
