Poll- Hunters: Do You Have Lifetime Hunting License?

Finally bought mine last year. I got tired of constantly worrying about buying tags and not being able to double up on a deer hunt because I bought 1 tag at a time.

I have 2 of them. One I bought from the state years ago, and one I got from the VA.

I have the combo. Purchased before it went up again ..The price for combo was $400
Got one for one of my sons also.
Then got a lifetime fishing for the wife
I hunted for over 10 years before i got it. I used to think 1 deer harvested a year was plenty.
Now i try to limit out. It all gets eaten.

Got mine in 1980. I'm not a mathematician but it didn't take long to figure out it would pay off. That was in the day of see a deer kill a deer. There weren't many. If I took the number of deer/turkey/controlled hunt permits, etc that I've not had to pay tags for, and annual licenses, it would make a nice paycheck.

Started big game hunting the same year I bought the lifetime. 1980

I've had my combo license since 1991. My old man got it for me at Christmas when I was 12. Next to my first shotgun, it's the best gift I've ever received.
