Damn, these pics are making me want to do some hog hunting.

Here's a little video of my son-in-law on his first hunting trip. We were on Pine Creek Lake. I thought he was aiming at the left hog, so I had the camera on it. Heck, he may have been aiming at the left hog, he had a bad case of hog fever! Gun is my Browning Auto, .243, 95 grain Nosler Partition.

Then last year he was deer hunting on my land north of Valliant and had a Mexican stand off with this little critter. He walked around a bend in the creek and was face to face, about 10 yards. Hog grunted a time or two and walked toward him, so POW!: Mossburg .270 rifle

I'd seen some sign on the land, but this was the first hog seen there.

I always delete one of the [img] at the front and back of insert and it works ok.

Dang I should have taken a pic from last night. Some sort of burrowing rodent. Got a 147gr Golden Sabre from the G26 at about 5 feet. Nasty.

Thats pretty cool, I have never been preditor hunting but would like to give it a try, I have a 20" H-BAR rifle shooting the 70gn berger VLD bullets and thought I'd givit a try. I have only shot out to 3 hundred but figured that would be far enough. Are you guys shooting long shot?

The cat and the coyote were both less than 100 yds for me.
