I like the messing with him plot even better. Tell him the favorite taco place down the street is having a sale on his favorite but its not published and have to order 5 or won't get the discount. If he's truly vaping on the job, should be able to pull this one off almost daily!

Was he not tested for THC when was injured? I thought a drug test was standard procedure when an injury occurred.

I'd bet your WC carrier would be interested that no one cares about on the job drug use.
allows post accident drug testing if there is some other indicator of intoxication. An employer can be sued for this.

If you remember my post about the guy I was training for our work, he's about to get canned. Two senior techs, myself and a 29 yr tech, had told the Operations MGR that this guy was not trainable. Operations MGR decided not to listen. Operations MGR is now in the hot seat because the misfit has screwed up big time. Sometimes it takes a while for things to roll around. Give it time, and it will happen. It will cost the owner a lot of money too.

I thought we were pro individual freedoms…..
I am very much pro individual liberty, but only as long as it confines its harms to the individual or consenting adults. When you start causing injuries to other people, then you get to find out about the responsibilities that go with liberties.
