:offtopic2: Sorry about that, O.A.Man. Never heard of that place before, but it looks great! I can imagine sitting at the railing of that tower in the early morning, watching the fog burn off. Magnificent views, for sure.

Great place. Even in summer its 10-15 degrees cooler up on the mountain than down below. Haven't been there in winter, but the ranger told us that its 10-15 degrees cooler in January too. Keep that in mind.

They have a problem with BedBugs at the Wilhelmina Lodge, IF you stay there be prepared to wake up with BedBug Bites and bring them home in your bags and persons, they will not notify you of them before hand and THAT is why it is so cheap.

Any hotel/motel/getaway spot is going to be offereing GREAT deals to try and get people to stay in them to try and make up for all the money it costs to TRY and eradicate the BedBugs, when they cannot ever get rid of them.
