They have a problem with BedBugs at the Wilhelmina Lodge, IF you stay there be prepared to wake up with BedBug Bites and bring them home in your bags and persons, they will not notify you of them before hand and THAT is why it is so cheap.

Any hotel/motel/getaway spot is going to be offereing GREAT deals to try and get people to stay in them to try and make up for all the money it costs to TRY and eradicate the BedBugs, when they cannot ever get rid of them.

OK ... do we know this for a FACT or are we just postulating ...

If ya get the chance stay at Mt.Magazine its awesome!

FACT, Read reviews on WIlhelmina Lodge on top of the fact I went there in AUgust of this year, checked in, set my bags down in the room, and went to the restroom, came back and there were BedBugs On my Bag, so I started Investigating, Sure Enough behind the nightstand in the moulding corner, Bedbugs and their Eggs.

Read up it is becoming a HUGE problem because people are just disregarding their re-intrusion in our everday lives, I won't even go to a movie theater ever again as I have read they have them there as well, people bring them in and they NEVER clean the seats and whatnot so they become infested, No thank you.

If'n ya go, take the long way. Go to Talihina and then to OK 1. One of the most scenic drives in OK. Flatland Okies are always surprised that there are mountains down here.

Note to the flatlanders: The "hina" in Talihina is pronounced "HAY-nuh". Might save you some ribbing when you're in the area.

Thank you. In my 20s I managed a couple of different Holiday Inns (no, seriously ... lol). GC makes fun of me because I ALWAYS take our own sheets, pillows and blankets, clean the bathroom before we use is and won't walk around the room without socks on my feet and won't sit on the bed with the bedspread on it. (You would DIE if you knew just how NASTY those bedspreads really are!)

I am thinking that maybe we should try out some of the new winter weather gear we got to go camping with. If it gets too cold we can always crawl into the back of the Suburban ... hey! Don't knock it ... gets pretty toasty in there with all the windows up ...

I may never go to another movie theatre again ...
