Range memberships - US Shooting Academy and Fouled Bore

Just a heads up the hillbillies at happy hollow in Sapulpa will run you off and not over picking brass up lol. They send their range Nazis down to annoy you until you can’t stand it and leave lol. Real dickweeds. Nothing like a range Nazi lurking behind you while trying to practice and have fun.

Who's running Happy Hollow these days? I haven't been out there for a while.

Just wanted to chime in that Fouled Bore is a great club, especially if you want to shoot long distance.

I think he has the biggest amount of steel anywhere I've seen.

It is a good place to shoot, Best if you can afford a membership and go when its private, but a few tools slip n anyway.

The only reason I went to USSA was for shooting competitions. That's over with for USPSA and will be over for IDPA in May after the state match.

Zero reason to go back after that.

I heard the other day that USSA was limiting non-members to 2 hours per $20 compared to the old days of it being a "day pass". I can't imagine that there were constantly queues of people for bays making it so that they had to impose a time limit, so it seems just like a straight devaluation.

I'm considering memberships at both US Shooting Academy and Fouled Bore since I'm local to OKC and these look like they have private bay rentals (US Shooting Academy) and long range steel (Fouled Bore).

If you're a member at any of these, could you offer your experiences there?

There is another option for ranges, we have a fairly new range south of Clinton. It is called Boss and Bling Firearm Solutions. We have memberships at different levels but it sounds like our Gold level is what would work for you. With that level you will be able to shoot any of our Pistol and Rifle bays and our 16 stages of precision rifle range. We are currently able to shoot out to 1050 yards once you have shown that you are able to show that you can figure your DOPE for the different distances and shoot safely. I checked this out and would gladly join but the $500.00 per year kills it for me. I have never seen a range have that expensive of membership. If it were $250 or so....No brainer!!!!
