I have ordered from BotachTactical several times and have never had any problems.

I was in that boat, until my last order went unfilled... sent several emails... no responses... it's been 8 weeks now. It was an item (hearing protectors) that was advertised as a special, and I placed my order immediately after receiving the email. I figure it's a price mistake and their simply sitting on the orders.

"Thank You for contacting us regarding an BackOrder Status/ ETA request. A member of our staff will get back to you within 24-48 business hours."

Yeah right.

Based on their reputation, I don't order things I need right away from Botach. Only occasionally will I order something because it's really cheap and I can stand being bent over and Botach'd. guess it was my turn this time.

Who knows, maybe I'm wrong, I'm giving them a call when they open up this morning.

Botach won't ship my order for the invoiced price. They have since raised the price from $70 to $80.... so my order isn't technically cancelled, but they refuse to deliver.

However, I'm free to order at the increased price... like I'm stupid enough to do that...

you: let me get this straight-- you're refusing to deliver my order because you've since raised the price from what's on my invoice?
Tehira: I am asking would you like to keep the order active or not?
Tehira: I apologize for the inconvenience, but I am only reading what the order states and it states the price change
you: When are you able to deliver the goods and how much are they going to cost?
Tehira: They are 2 for $80
Tehira: And I can ship the item today if you'd like

I've ordered a few on-sale items and received them in good order and timely. I've ordered one higher ticket item; it arrived in good order and timely. Maybe 10-12 orders total with no issues.

I'm always aware of their spotty reputation for customer service when I place an order with them. I try to avoid items that would be likely to go south.

BTW I've never seen the "live help" icon on their website show anything other than "closed".

My order was cancelled since it still wasn't shipped and she couldn't tell me when it would ship. Called SWFA and it's on a truck this afternoon and I get my Aimpoint tomorrow. All the other things I ordered from midway and they come Friday. None of this would have been an issue if the sales rep wouldn't have ensured me all the items were in stock and would ship immediately. I'm not the type to complain over shipping costs or things like that.

Just ordered a high cap mag for my g26 last night from them. Was not aware of their spotty rep. I'm a sucker for free shipping to and the price was lower than anyone.We'll see how it goes.

Many of these places when you order you are only getting an answering service that takes orders.
Search the site good and you will usually find another number for technical and inventory questions.

The order taker can only answer questions based on a FAQ script given them by the company.
