To me the best way to "start" is on a single stage. a nice stout one.
You will use it even if you upgrade later to a progressive.
Get the dies that make you happy..Lee dies work for me just fine.

There are several manuals. One may come with a new press.

Read, read, read, and ask lots of questions. There are many very helpful folks on this and other forums.
Class is a very good idea. Don't know who teaches one in OKC. Jerry's Outdoor in Tulsa does them on Saturdays.
