I had a '67 Camaro with a hot rodded 350 small block motor. Perfect car for a bleary eyed 17 yr old kid.
I built a particle board under dash console for an 8 track deck and equalizer/ amp. Upholstered with black Naugahyde, it looked as cool as it sounded. Wore out Nazareth's Hair of the dog in that one.

Still have the factory cassette player in my F350, but it does nothing more than eat tape.

Anyone remember those smaller versions of the 8-track called cassettes ? Ahhhh, the good ol' days.
I have a '96 Cougar i bought new that has a factory cassette. My grandson found the cassette carrying case (64 tape version I think) in the garage and asked what they were. We jammed out to Against the Wind the rest of the day.

There was also a 2 track version, it was about the size of a cassette but was built like an 8 track. i had one and had like 3 tapes, the only one I remember is Wooly Booly, by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs.
