This one fits the bill, Dennis. Won't do what a .454 will do, but it's handy and does not get in the way.

Hey, There is a 5 missing between those two 4's and Casull is spelt wrong.

Where does SDA say ACP? This oughta make a pretty fine "truck gun"...

... and 325gr at 1350fps should meet that Alaskan guide recommendation even allowing a few fps drop for the 4.2" barrel.

It doesn't. Just says 45 caliber IIRC.

I asked the same in my SDA class...........say's no larger than .45 cal............and .45acp is .451 and .45 colt/casull/etc is .452 where does one draw the line? He said to just carry .40s&w and not worry about it, lol.

I shot quite a few of these out of my .454.

do it this way & when u get back u can deer hunt with it , The barrel was easy to screw out, barrel blocks & a 2x2 x 10 inch block of wood stuck in where the CYL. goes , Saw off the muzzle end crown it in a lathe , silver souder the front sight back on & u are good to go. match mark it before u screw it off I still have original barrel . ordered one of gun broker.44mags 001.jpg PS i made the grip
