S&W SD9VE... Thoughts?... I'm thinking of getting one.

I had one a few years ago and I loved it. You get what you get as there aren't many aftermarket parts for it. However, I never had one misfire in any way. Every single round I ever put through it fired without flaw. I would have relied on it in any situation. I've thought several times about getting another one. It's the best value in pistols if you ask me.

I am told that you can replace the sights with M&P sights so that is cool.

I'd save up and get a better quality gun; if not a Glock, then an M&P instead; if you wanna go polymer frame. My 2 cents.

Undoubtedly, the trigger is awful - but I've never felt the pistol was lacking in "quality", fit or finish.

while I was at FBT tonight I got to fondle the SD9VE.... oh baby!... I will be picking me up one in a few weeks!
