Totally unrelated to your query past shooting the gun and not hating life, on my Shockwave, and my short same length, but thinner walled lighter Cruiser barrel done long before Mossberg ever jumped on the ATF approved idea floated by the Shockwave guy, I found Aguila mini shells with an adapter worked fine and with much higher capacity (but just could not groove to the rubber plug-in nature of the adapter), and settled on shooting Winchester low noise/low recoil 12ga target loads.....at home interior ranges even cylinder bore spreads very little with fist sized patterns, and you better be pointed as well as if you were using slugs, and birdshot/target loads may not have heavy large shot for deep penetration, but you are still slapping someone with a full ounce+ of lead at 1100fps-1200fps with standard target loads, or in the case of the low noise/low recoil target loads, circa 3/4oz of lead at circa 1000fps....compare that to any handgun data....it really would take mayhem off most people's minds after being punched and cratered by one of those.

There are a couple of easy walkthroughs online as to how to efile. It'll cost you $200 stamp, you'll need some photos and some prints. You'll be doing a Form 1 SBS.
Approvals are super fast these days. In two weeks ish, when you get your email approval, get it engraved with your name and location (or trust, if you did one)
Firstname Lastname
City, Oklahoma
Then you'll just put a stock on the end and sell someone that grip for $25

You can also pay silencer shop $50 to help with the paperwork and fingerprints/ photos using their kiosk

I didn't know you could use the kiosk for F1....that's awesome

I didn't either until recently. I used their reprints of my Form 4 fingerprints for my Form 1 SBR when I did it, but now you can do it all on the kiosk. My buddy recently did one for a MP5 and all went smooth and quick...his was under a week for approval IIRC.

Sheesh -- reminds me i should do this for my PTR MP 5 - get out from under the brace

Once you get started on NFA stuff, it never stops does it
