I stamped a retired LE issued factory SBS, a 14" full stocked 590A1, and with a basic limbsaver it's not too much at all. It's quite enjoyable, actually. I've run some pretty hefty 00 Buck thru it
I F 1'd a 870 a few years ago, went to a 14" barrel and low it. it wears a wood stock and forend with the good Remington but pad, its loud as hell and a handful but a damn fine wieldable gun
Mine was paper but I basically submitted, waited, got approved and put a stock on it. I was lazy about engraving it cause they approved it with Remington listed as the maker. I did eventually have a local member engrave it for me where I wanted it done .
