I concur.

I also believe the law enforcement establishment is being forced to take a position these days and more and more are indicating that they are not planning on enforcing additional federal gun laws.

I've been thinking I've been seeing kinda the same thing in the various bills that are popping up in all the various states for about a week now. Bills pop up and a sheriff or another bill somewhere will take the opposite stance. A company says "we are leaving or not selling to your agencies if you pass this".

The line is being drawn while everyone is picking which side they are going to stand on. It's like a game of chicken. One side says "it's gonna happen and you are going to do it" and the other says "just go ahead and watch".

I really don't think the likes of Schumer, Fienstein, and co. have a grasp on how adamant we are about this right. If we are in a game of chicken, we are both going to lose. Perhaps we should add to the "cold dead hands" saying. "Be careful when you pry that gun from my cold dead hands. The barrel will be hot!"

I hope you're right, but I wonder just how much of that is bluster and posturing. Could be like the civilian population, who - when speaking of this subject - talk of "resisting", etc., but when confronted with the decision to give up their weapons, or be separated from their families by being jailed, I think they'd easily give up the guns. And the LEOs, when faced with losing their jobs and pensions over resisting, would likely go ahead and start knocking on doors. After all - they have families to feed and bills to pay, too. But again, I sure hope you're right.

Not me. No way, no how. I watched what happened with Katrina and it made me super paranoid. Lots of my guns have some kind of family history attached. I'm not going to be the one who breaks that family history chain. They would have a hell of a time finding them anyway.

Be careful guys, James Yeager had his Privilege to Bear Arms revoked for this kind of talk!

Remember Chris Dorner, and how many law enforcement resources one guy tied up? And with him, the cops knew who he was, what he looked like, etc. because he posted a manifesto telling them who he was and who he was trying to kill. Imagine somebody doing the same thing anonymously. Imagine several people doing that, in different locations. Think about the disruption that could cause. Remember the Texas DA that was gunned down last month walking to the courthouse, and the shooter(s) drove off and got away clean? What if everyone who chooses the side of tyranny had to worry about that happening to them? When they are going to work... or when they are walking to their front door... or when they are asleep in their bed. That is what this type of conflict will look like if it pops off.

While I am confident that you did not intend it this way, I am going to caution everyone on this thread not to engage in any type of veiled threat toward our government.

If that starts up in this thread, it will end quickly.

I'm not sure why you posted this inflammatory diatribe - you have me very worried, young man.
