Please dont be so naive to think that a woman would not be swooned by a popular NFL quarterback...

Yep. That's me. Ms. Naive.

Are you so naive that you think every woman would even know who Tony **** is?

Exactly.

I know the name. I have no idea what the guy looks like or who he plays for, though - in fact, until your comment, I was unaware he played quarterback. So I can tell you that were I the hostess, I'd have been not impressed at all by the big guy with the entourage. Probably not even after they told me who he was.

You've got no reason whatsoever to think the hostess wouldn't have followed the rules as diligently no matter who was standing in the lobby.

The comments on the article are frightening. Apparently, as a Vet, you can do whatever you want and anyone who disagrees with a Vet's opinion hates America.

Stories like these make me so proud!!!

Don't know what thread you're reading but I see an overwhelmingly pro-business percentage. The ones who side with the Vets say nothing even close to what you're saying. And yes, I saw the White House lawn comment, but it's still not what you say. Remember we ALL have a right to an opinion, even if you don't like it.

Stirrin' the pot, are we?

Just a guess, but i think he is talking about the comments on the news site, not OSA.

When I meant "The comments on that article" I meant the comments on that site that posted the article. Not the comments here...

First comment on that site...
So, what happened to the 'hostess'? Hope she's standing in an unemployment line.

Sorry for the confusion I can see why you'd think that.

We don't live in a digital universe and there are many more colors than just black and white.

Rules may be rules but they were written by human beings and can be changed or adjusted to circumstance by human beings. Part of what makes us human is our ability to adjust to varying situations; to make judgements based on variable information.

Zero tolerance is just another way of saying pass the buck I'm not responsible.

The restaurant should have made an exception and let the old guys in. Hell if it had been me I'd have announced to all there that they would be enjoying their meals that evening while in the presence of real heroes.

Why? Them If I go to the restaurant in my shorts and t shirt, shouldn't they make the same exception for me?

These old men served in WWII. They should know what rules are. By using their service as a way to go around the rules, Ill go as far as calling them a disgrace for those who uphold the honour of being a WWII vet.
