I'm a Browning A5 and Remington 1100 fan. Both guns have been around for a long time and there's a reason. Both are timeless classics.
Rem 1100, 11-87, Versa-Max is my choice. The Rem SP 3 1/2" will shoot anything you load in it. Most of my shooting is 3". It's made by Baikhal but quality and function has been flawless.

Want to hear what you decided, but also curious, is the Remington 1187 a good shotgun? Before I lost it in a boating accident it ran great, but has not seen heavy use...
