Don't see why not. As soon as I seen the possible side effects, the pain I thought I had quickly goes away. Do I really need to tKe that pill for "restless leg syndrome" when the possible side effects are: anal leakage, headache, Diarrhea, suicidal thoughts, long term boner (which may explode), tooth decay, blurry vision, hairy palms, bad breath, loss of appetite, etc, etc, etc.

I love these threads. They expose those who know better.

I hate purple potatoes. QUICK LETS BAN THEM

Yep next will be gun commercials, cigarette commercials (oh wait, too late), tea party commercials, alcohol commercials, ...etc.

Yet another attempt to try to be a nanny state (more than we are already) by banning commercials.

By the way, I take zero prescriptions and think most of them do more harm than good, however, individual choice prevails not censorship.

And that one can give you some stomach pyrotechnics from what I understand. So even it's not free of criticism. I really wonder how some of these things ever make it to market.
Yes sir, proceed with caution..........................I can only explain it somewhat like a space shuttle launch, with only a T minus 3 count down and it's launch time. It really varies from person to person how much one can take during a day. Feed me jalapenos all day and 2 metformin and I'm gold. 3 of them is a no no.

For the record I have never taken it but my father has. He said it was precisely accurate, that is the time between pill and sharp pains and bowel movements. You could set your watch to it. He quipped that they tell you to with food so you actually have something to pass once the IBS kicks in.

Perhaps this very story is what motivated me to lose 60 pounds and avoid type two diabetes that my family has seen across generations. I got off the statins as well with he weight loss and diet change.

Yes I tried them for a while to see if they would help, as I'm type 1 and not 2, but don't have the antibodies that most type 1's have that indicates that my own cells attacked my pancreas. It just quit producing insulin on it's own. Metformin well for a while but had to increase the amounts to notice the benefits and that's where the wheels fell off. Insulin pump is awesome!
Glad you were able to loose the weight and avoid it!

People should be free to advertise these things if they want, and there should be no prohibition on selling them over the counter.

Whether a person actually should do either of those things is for him alone to decide.

When I first started taking it, it gave me gas. Now, it doesn't bother me at all. Since I've been hitting the gym hard, I don't have to take as much. Hope to be off of it by next year.
