Have you tried lukes? Every time ive had smokies it has tasted like it came out of an oven and not a smoker.

The smoker is behind the counter in a room, that is very huge. Ask them to show you the smoker.

It might be good BBQ, but Sallisaw is kind of a long drive from Tulsa.
Smokies is good. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Burn Co, but they’re way too far out of the way from my office to try for lunch.

The biggest problem with Mission is it’s a pain in the tuchus to get to it unless you’re coming from the south or west. (My brother and I usually get burgers from Ron’s in the same strip mall once a week.)
Clark Crew has had a full parking lot every time I’ve been by there since it opened, but that may be just because it’s new.
