Have you tried lukes? Every time ive had smokies it has tasted like it came out of an oven and not a smoker.

The smoker is behind the counter in a room, that is very huge. Ask them to show you the smoker.

I've not heard of Luke's.

Smokies is good. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Burn Co, but they’re way too far out of the way from my office to try for lunch.

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of the two in the OP, so I can’t comment on them.

It used to be, but not so much now...

Elmers is now in Brookside.

Is Elmer's on 41st and Peoria still open? The "Badwich" was friggin' amazing.

I drove by the other day and it's now a quick lube. Internet says they moved to 33 and Peoria

5. Mission BBQ; just opened, high ratings from my son who ate at their VA location.
6. Clark Crew BBQ; high inital opening reviews but too soon to tell.

The biggest problem with Mission is it’s a pain in the tuchus to get to it unless you’re coming from the south or west. (My brother and I usually get burgers from Ron’s in the same strip mall once a week.)

Clark Crew has had a full parking lot every time I’ve been by there since it opened, but that may be just because it’s new.
