Single Action Revolver for Self Defense?

A single action revolver isn't for me, but it sure beats the heck out of throwing rocks...

SA revolvers are cool, I have a couple Rugers and a Colt. But they are Slow, heavy and impossible to reload quickly. For self defense they would be a lot better than no gun but a dumb choice if you have any other options.

But seriously, as I have mentioned Clint Smith carried a few as an experiment on if it was a good idea. Its just the reload time that takes forever and is a downside.
