I'm gonna go armchair Kojak on you for a second, but I think domestic violence (and I use the term deliberately loosely here) is one area where officer discretion has been cut way back in recent times, and the officers are being instructed more and more to bring people in for booking (and let the attorneys figure it out after the fact). For better or worse.

There are also fed grants through the VAWA that encourage/pay for more arrest to be made.

Maybe I misread the definition of disparity of force in Oklahoma, but I seem to recall a difference between a male and a female in there.

I've never heard of disparity of force used in any context other than self defense issues, please correct me if I'm wrong.

i mean this in the most respectful way possible, but you need to take about 24 hours before posting anymore on this subject. You are now attacking people personally and on a very sensitive subject. Most people take parenting very seriously and to attack someone personally who said nothing out of line or personal to you is crossing the line.

Out of context. But this was in regards to men and women always being equal. Self defense is just one instance.
