I have heard that there is a .450 bushmaster, never really seen anything about it, but after I get done watching the DVR I may have to check it out... Interesting short heavy bullets now-a-days.

I looked at the .450 bushmaster as well, I shoot a lot of 45-70 so I already had a ton of bullets for the SOCOM. .450 bushmaster is a straight walled case, much like a .460 S&W revolver with a different rim.

I built the very first .458 SOCOM rifle back in Feburary of 2001. Here is the original pic, the very first pic ever taken of the .458 SOCOM. The suppressed gun was built in 2002. I had 10,000 cases made to jump start the project and talked Peter Pi at Corbon into loading factory ammo for it. Of course no one these days remembers any of that..........
