Springfield 87A finally got glass. Now with range report.

Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I may have to see about mounting the Tasco scope I bought for my 87A almost 50 years ago. It's still in the box that it came in.

What scope did you use and what is the biggest that will fit that setup(with mount from amazon link)?

For reference the scope in the pictures above is a 3-9x32 Simmons. And it's a close fit.
