St. Francis asking if we have guns?

Momma is sitting next to me filling out some forms for St. Francis so she can see an ENT tomorrow and there are two questions that disturb me a little

they ask,
Do you have any guns tn the house
and
If so are they locked up


How the hey is that ANY of their damn business ?

My answer? Eat Chit

We answer stupid questions the way we answer them. There are no kids in this house and I have loaded guns all over the place. I don't recommend that you do like I do. What they're asking for is actually useful demographic information. They're painting a big picture.

The answers may be useful but they can also be misused. Believe me, or just do your own research, but there are many "medical" organizations that would love to have an entirely new route to attempt gun control via the health and welfare path and all they need is a statistical, non-causal, relationship to get the ball rolling. I would simply decline to answer.

If they ask me I'll just say "I don't allow children in my home, they break stuff, do whatever you tell them not to, eat your food AND carry disease. I just don't think it's safe to allow them indoors".

The answer to the question is a simple- 'N/A' or 'Not Applicable'. Or just leave it blank.

Just remember how you answer. Its for when they give you some mind altering drugs. Its to cover their butt in case you commit suicide or go on a shooting spree.
