I think education and immigration are two separate issues. The very last thing we need are more uneducated people in this world. Without education, we will never move forward.
I don’t disagree with you or @HillsideDesolate on this, but having kids that speak little to no english in a class is tough on a teacher and ultimately affects the whole class. My wife doesn’t “dumb down” her lessons for non english speaking kids, but she lets them do what they can do and grades it accordingly. She offers all her students the opportunity to come in before or after school if they need extra help, but it’s always the overachievers that show up and almost never the ones the need actually need the help.
The mexican kids my boys grew up with in the late 90’s/early 2000’s had parents that spoke little to no english, but the kids were fluent and very smart. The ones my wife has now are 180% on the other end of the spectrum.
Exactly. If some kids parents robbed a bank, they are not entitled to the money after the parents die or get arrested.

United States taxpayers should not be paying for illegal aliens non-citizen children. This is taking vital resources from American children and teachers.
The kids can go back home with their parents from where they came from. It is not the obligation of any American to pay for their education or feed them.
Maybe so, but at what cost ? What support do you give them and how much is enough ? Our freaking country is broke man. In more than one way I don't see loading it up with a bunch of immigrants doing anything beneficial right now . If you have a 3 bedroom house ,how many families can you let move in before you run out of living space ? Where does the extra support come from ? Our school kids are not learning much with the system we have in place now . Look at what you said ....we should keep the kids and send the parents back. How does that work ? We keep them at your house? Or where? I work in commercial construction. .I've worked for the same company in OKC for over a decade . We use several aliens some legal some not so much. I've known more than a few for a long time and are good friends with them. Lots of good dudes . But I see how the system gets played . I see the revolving door process that immigration has become. . and I can see how much it costs you and I .
