You need a steel plug in that barrel so you can really crank down on it with the vise. That's why you ain't got it yet.

Psshaw. If it gets a crimp or a dent, the first steel load down it will take it back out.

Well I was close but all I could think of was “Dead In-Laws”. Google said it was Drug Induced Lupes but knew that wasn’t right. Mostly just wanted to make my contribution to the post while we’re waiting on pics.

Dead in laws are the best in laws.

Long shot here but is the front sight factory and/or does it have the choke tube pinned in and locked????

Who knew we had to tell him that JB Weld does NOT make for a good choke lubricant.

Front sight is original. It’s just missing the fiber optic rod. Choke was removed at the end of last duck season for cleaning. It’s been through some rough muddy conditions. I think it’s a combo of rust,carbon,plastic and grit.
