My buddy growing up had a Lark, and later bought a Golden Hawk. That Hawk could almost fly.....lol

Studebakers were ahead of their time. They had air conditioning before others, aerodynamics before others, they were cool but for whatever reason just didnt stick around. It would be cool if some other car company brought them back!

Question for anyone doing restorations on Studebakers...how easy/hard/impossible is it to get parts? Only salvage lots or is there an aftermarket?

I attended the Studebaker rally in South Bend one year with a work colleague who had an Avanti. It was gold like this one but had an orange interior.

I have a buddy who recently moved from Mustang to out by Eufala that had a restored red Avanti. It was really cool!
