I have owned 3 taurus pistols (semi-auto) in my life. Had a slight problem with all 3.
None shot at point of aim, 2 of the 3 also had magazine issues. 1 of the 3 had jam or feeding issues wich may have been related to the mag.
Sold or traded all 3. I never dealt with their customer service or warranty program.
I have fired others too, A Judge being 1 of them, wasnt impressed with it either. It didnt hit at point of aim, sights sucked, trigger pull sucked. I gave it a thumbs down.
I will never put my own money down on another Taurus though.

a gun smith I used recently told me Taurus come form the same machines as Bereta but I cant confirm that.

I think this is because Taurus bought out a factory I think in Brazil where Beretta used to build the 92... I assume they left the machines in the sale, thus Taurus makes the PT92, based on Beretta's expired patent, in an old Beretta factory, on old Beretta equipment.
