Isn't Bill Clinton's Johnson(NOT Melvin Johnson's rifle) an AR(Assault/Rape) weapon? It's fully automatic too, but it just doesn't have a bayonet lug that I have ever heard about.

That article is incorrect. AR is for "Armalite" only, not "Armalite Rifle". The AR17 is a 12ga shotgun and the AR24 is a 9mm pistol. They didn't name them AS17 or AP24, just AR and a model number.

To me an "assault rifle" is select fire. Not many of us have them in the true sense.
