I’ll do alright if I make it past the first wave or two of hoards searching for food. Meds? I’m on the lowest dose of both cholesterol and BP meds so I’d do alright without them but the Mrs could be a challenge. She’s on a couple that you don’t want to stop taking abruptly and while we have a couple months saved beyond that would be “interesting”. With what’s in the house I’d go 9-12 months with the exception of water and living next to Lake Lawtonka I have access to plenty.

I’ve trapped beaver and tried it in a stew. It was just OK. Since I see a gazillion raccoons on camera I was thinking of getting some of those dog proof leg traps for coon. Have read that they are not bad to eat either.

Coons are greasy but not bad to eat.
