Tom Clancy Without Remorse

Movie rights were bought years ago. Right now there is one in the works with a tentative release date of 2011. Who would make a good Kelly/Clark though?

They cast Willem Dafoe as clark for clear and present danger which in my opinion was a poor choice.

Without Remorse is one of my personal favorites. The history of John Kelly explains a lot of things about that character.

It was one of my favorite Clancy books and have wished for many years for the movie to be made. I to wonder who would be good in the lead role, any ideas?

Best Clancy book. I think Edward Norton might be able to pull off Clark.

Micheal Biehn would probably do well...might be a little old for it though, I think the main character in that book is in his 20s or early 30s?

Well, it's been awhile since I last read the book so I can't recall the name of the main character. However, and I'm sure I'm in the minority when I say this but, I thought Mark Wahlberg did an excellent job in the movie Shooter and I wouldn't mind seeing him in the lead role.

John Kelly/John Clark is the main character. Dafoe played him in clear and present danger, and was a very poor choice, agreed. The kid who played Domingo Chavez was a decent choice though.

I lstened to it long time ago on audio. I think they are throwing around Liam Neeson as Kelly I don't know how I feel about that.

I'd never considered Liam Neeson for the role but after seeing him in the movie Taken, I really think he'd do well with it.

I thought of Neeson too, but Clark is somewhat younger in this movie, probably early 30's, so I figured that would take him out of the running.
