I gave up on tomatoes and threw mine away a few years ago. Fast forward to this year - bought and planted 8. Bought 4 cages at Home Depot = $3-5… Solid/nice! Went to Ace and got 4 more = pieces of crap! AND this was after sorting through a stack of them.. went to push in SOFT soil, and everyone came apart, in one way or another.. JUST my experience…. But HD had a BUNCH. The one around 56th and N May.

Can use a single piece of 3/4" PVC pipe about 5' long driven into the soil close to the plant. Then very loosely zippy tie the main stalk to the pipe as it grows. Actually works well.

Home Depot got a shipment in. I bought a few for the house. I think I’ll make a lattice type thing for my little raised bed at the shop.
