Took the childrens shootin!

I took the kids out to "Banner Road" today and let them pop off a few hundred rounds and they had a blast! I also sighted in the new .223WSSM and let Hunter shoot it about 5 times or so. Now he's pumped for deer season, just have to take him to class now. Anyways just thought I would share.

My 8 yr old son recently got one of those Heritage single action 22s from Academy and now my 6 yr old daughter is asking me if she's going to get a gun too. She's shot a 10/22 a little bit.

Take them as often as you can - before long they'll start surprising you by operating a hand-gun like they know what they're doing (and calling other kids at the range down when they see them committing a violation of one of the 4 laws).
