FWIW, My son had an 08 trail teams edition and the frame developed a couple of cracks so Toyota made him a good deal on a model 10, he likes the vehicle
pretty well, he is really a soft roader a little hunting and scenic views is pretty much what he does. Gas milage as noted earlier, lack of visibility and premium fuel recommended.

drove an 84 FJ-60 Landcruiser wagon for 15+ years.
one of the most dependable trucks ever made.

only reason I sold her was due to mileage. terrible mileage.
12-14 mpg on the road. gearing was way too low... if gearing was correct for road use... mileage would jump up 2-3 mpg.

an old FJ-60 Diesel wagon is the hot ticket.... good mileage with true FJ characteristics the new Landcruisers don't have.

a cummins 4BT conversion into a FJ-60 wagon would be hot too.
