I sat from 2:00 to dark last night and never seen a deer I got a little arrogant and tried a head shot on a pig right at dark and knocked the hair off the top of his head and ran off squealing

I was out for about that same time yesterday and only saw a bobcat and a couple of young bucks. Got to watch them spar for a while and then play around posturing.

Almost had a shot at that bobcat, but it took off right as I was getting ready to look through the scope.

I pulled all my cards yesterday and I noticed something interesting. I have a lot of broken antler bucks, big ones too. You all seeing that? I bet a quarter of my bucks have broken antlers.

I’m not seeing anything like that around here. Are these bucks just now starting to show back up on the cameras?

I have not checked most of my cameras since early November due to being deep in the property. Some I do check weekly and I have noticed it on them too. Here are three of many:

If you’d of been shooting a real caliber, the top of his skull would’ve come off instead of just giving him a haircut.

I’ve got a few that are broke up, but it seems like there’s less this year than in the past.
