Here are three pictures from today's pull. Notice my tripod doe is still around, this time she moved about 1/4-1/2 west of the other camera she has been in for two years.
I’ve been running cell cameras since 2007, and at times, like now, I kind of regret knowing what bucks are around my place. I’m not saying there aren’t some really decent ones this year, but I’ve let my expectations create early disappointment.
I keep telling myself that it’s only mid August, because historically, some of the largest bucks I’ve killed haven’t shown up on camera until mid September. However, again from history, the ones I’m seeing now could be as good as it gets.
