Panicked deer busted the hog fence! Camera showed two deer enjoying their corn and lick. I suspect the timer went off while they were in the pen. Subsequently, the one on the right did not clear the fence and broke the flimsy wires holding it to the T-post. The next photo showed him running like crazy (brown blur across the scene). Tonight, about 20 hogs appreciated the door this buck made for them! Time to text my friendly neighbor and ask him to wire it back together.

He was in there again this morning. Hopefully a repeat performance in the morning.

I have a ghost flying around another feeder.

And finally a wannabe corn bandit. Even if it gets high enough there won’t be any way to get to the spinner. I bought half the corn I used to to prevent the deer spinner lickers and corn bandits getting more than the feeder puts out. Cages save money.

I’ve already got an 18 month old with a whole side broke off, and a 2.5 year old with half a beam missing. I’ve been wondering if the density of the antlers have been compromised by the drought.

Yeah, that’s definitely a giant buck, but I don’t see 200” giant, but I’ve been wrong before.
I've got several bucks with broke antlers. Thought the same thing about drought and forage.

Hanobia, which is south of Talihina. If you are real quiet you can hear the banjos, and don't make fun of the sasquatch folks , they get a mite touchy on the subject:cool:.

My place is just down the road in Nashoba.

If you're real quiet here, you can hear the neighbors cooking meth.

But nothing is ever quiet over here...deer season with rifles begins here in September, and ends about January. I make a lot of noise killing stuff too (year-round), but the others only seem to do it during those months...wierd.
