Looks like the deer we named Squiggy got shot and lived. Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like entry on the right side and exit on the left. He showed up after muzzleloader looking fine, but after several days he shows back up looking like this.
I’d hate to see an infection kill him, so you need to get your butt out there and finish him off.

If he had a wound on only one side I would suspect it to be an injury from a fight with another buck. Being as it is on both sides and pretty even, I would guess a bullet wound also.

Got my first ever trail cam set up today, gonna go put it out Sunday. Pictures look good, should be able to see some deer with it if I do my part. These tactacam’s are pretty nice.

I sympathize with your situations, but y’all have it good. Try dealing with that kind of crap from 500 miles when you can’t just drive back tomorrow to fix an issue. It’ll make you lose all your religion.
I’ve had the neighbor’s cows get in and spin a camera on the post, ***** eat my wires to the external battery, deer eat the antenna, and random blades of grass all the time, and I have to wait 3-4 weeks to go fix it. :censored:

Your property is still quite a jog from me. Wish I was closer and I’d help ya out!
