Trailer for Swampratt!!

Eff N A that trailer frame of mine is a C channel frame from a 1956 Chevy long bed truck.
With more cross braces than any utility trailer so siu.
Made to haul a truck in 1956 and a truck with a load.
Haters gonna hate and I see who the haters are.

I see "new" trucks with bent frames all the time and I know for a fact this one will not bend.

It is called PROOF TESTING.
Yea I did it.
I know what my stuff is capable of for doing it so Continue with the hate.

Great idea. I fell like that single 3500lb axle is an accident waiting to happen.

My axle is dropped rectangular 5200lb rated.
I have built many trailers with the 3500lb round tube axles though.

5 lug wheels is standard 3500lb but even if it were 5200, you subtract the weight of the trailer and your still borderline overloaded. The Catalina is around 3800 lbs IIRC.

You can get axles without hubs but with spindles and get any bolt pattern you want.
I have personally built over 50 trailers and I order them with what ever bolt pattern I need.
I even ordered some with Ford truck 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern to match my truck bolt pattern.
You can get chevy car 5 on 4.75 also. I usually had to wait a week for custom bolt pattern.

Correct but 5 lug hubs are 3500 lb. Rated. 6 lug are 5200. Only rated as high as your lightest rated component.

You could run an electric pinion break on that sucker too for even more stopping power and a diff cooler
