Traveling from OK to Vegas?

Ok, in the next few days I'll be traveling with my wife, son and mother in law to Las Vegas. The states covered will be Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. It looks like all those states honor Oklahoma CCL and both me and my wife are licensed. Are there any 'strange' laws in those states that I should know about. We won't be in any bars or anything like that, just want to travel knowing we can protect ourselves if necessary. When we are on foot in Vegas we won't be carrying but in the car would like to have piece of mind.

Even for non-residents? I did read the part North Las Vegas having 'deadly weapons' laws and Clark county requires you to register the guns. Looks like Nevada may be my only problem.

While in New Mexico....you can't legally carry in ANY establishment that sells alcohol. This includes 7-11 type convenience stores.
