+1. These are good. Some have pneumatic tires and are good for off pavment.

I'm in the market for a Tricycle also.
I'm limiting my search for Radio-Flyer from a quality standpoint, and it must have rubber tires (plastic ones wear out quicker, and rubber has better traction).
FYI - Tricycles come in 10" and 12" diameter tires. My little one is a bit on the tall side - so I'll be shopping for a 12".
Things to consider. Buy what's right for you.
