man is the sale over, or is it $8.99? i just looked and thats the price i got

Yes the sale was over.... But now its BACK ON!!!

Unfortunately, I think the shipping promo is gone though.... :cry11:

Shipping is usually $14.95 from Cabelas so if you spend $150, you come out just as even as if you bought locally and paid tax. And you get a better price per round

Walmart at Admiral and Memorial has always had any ammo I've needed when I've gone. You even get your pick of different kinds of .22 bulk, in different package sizes. They also have this weird RWS 9mm in an orange and black box. I also saw .38 Special, .357 Mag, and .40 S&W I think. Maybe .45 ACP.

I think Obamarama has finally drawn to a close (knock on wood)

walmart 22 lr prices in cleveland OK

Winchester 555 $19.47
Remington golden Bullet 500 $18.97
Federal 550 $18.97

outrageous

Agreed it is outrageous. My local walmart went from $15.47 to $18.97 on the Federal 550, that's about a 20% price jump from one shipment to the next. OUCH!

Just FYI. In my job I deal with a few different wal marts daily. Ammo prices are a bit cheaper in the "metro" areas than in some of the farther out areas. It is only about a $3 or so difference. So if you are planning on being in Tulsa and live in Okmulgee it would not be a bad idea to pick up ammo at wal mart, but not really a good idea to make a special trip just for the ammo.

At least until yesterday.
