I have memberships at both United States Shooting Academy and Tulsa Firearms. USSA is great for rifles and pistols, I have never fired shotguns there. Great staff and excellent variety of target applications from fixed paper to steel plate knock down to pop-up. No problem with magnetic steel ammo there. Double taps and rapid rate of fire are allowed. The only drawback is for extreme winter months. My membership runs approx. $30 p/month, all inclusive. I would highly recommend it.

Tulsa Firearms is very good for indoor pistol. Indoor training under normal to low light conditions, to me, is a requirement for self defense training. Cannot use magnetic ammo. No rapid firie. They charge separate for pistol and rifle bay use. .22 cal rifles and pistol carbines can use pistol bays. Rifle bay is about 50 ft. or so. Must shoot rifle in sitting position using fixed gun rest, they provide if you need it. Staff has been good to me with one or two exceptions. I have had very good success with their reloaded ammo. I have renewed my membership.

I love being a member at red castle, they have a place for any type of gun!
I'm resurrecting this thread. You're welcome to join in if you’d like.

I have been a Red Castle member for about 25 years. The combination of indoor and outdoor facilities make it an excellent value for my family. It's changed some over the years.

Favorite range: The benchrest range.

Least favorite range: What used to be the outdoor junior range. I'm not exactly sure what's going on there now, but it seems crowded for its small footprint.

What we'll be trying next: The 600-yard range, practicing for Camp Perry.

I've been there a while myself.

Favorite range: the 600 yard range.

When they put a pad and roof at the 600 it increased traffic considerably. I started to comment about the folks that tie that range up with all their crap, but someone might think I'm mean.

I love Red Castle though. It's an absolute bargain.

Frontier Justice indoor range, near 75 highway and 96 Street (Jenks exit). Opened around the first of this year,2024. I understand it’s recently changed hands from original owner to an investment group. First owner sold out, retired. Love their 25 yard shooting lanes, computer, wall mounted I-Pad controlled, target holders. There are timed shooting drills to choose from, if desired, featured on the controllers. Or just simple press to your distance to practice shooting at. Has good smoke exhaust system, similar to 2A Shooting Center range over on East Admiral. FJ is about four miles from my house, most convenient range I’ve ever had.
