Got this guy this afternoon in Okmulgee county. Took him about 30 minutes to cover 500 yards, my turkey fever was a rush. 9" beard and 1" spurs. View attachment 374002View attachment 374003View attachment 374004

My son and I had a tom with hens on either side of us for about an hour and a half this evening. Not much interest in leaving the hens as expected. Really glad they didn't want to leave them anyway, I'd just assume they breed them before one walked within shotgun range for my son lol. Buffalo gnats were brutal this evening.

Congratulations, that’s a good looking bird! Is your shotgun the Franchi Intensity? If so, how do you like it?
